Nostalgia Bracelet

I call this bracelet nostalgia. I saw something similar and got this idea why not take part of my Dad's love letters and scan them, re size them and then also my Mom and Dads marriage certificate, do the same, plus parts of the photograph I was in with my brother when I was a baby. Bead around each part making a small bracelet out of it. Its reversable.
My father was a calligrapher so his writing was beautiful, even his ordinary writing was a work of art in itself.
I miss my parents so much.........my Mom passed away two years ago my Dad three years ago. They both had alzheimers disease.

Freeform Peyote Again

My favorite stuff, yeah!

My newest creation:

Ive been reinventing or adding to the right angle weave by Nan C Meinhardt. This is all free form and of course I love free anything. Ill hopefully be posting the photos from my projects. Finished this one of the "Beach" .
I would dearly love to go to the Bahamas again but since that 'aint happenin' I am beading how it feels to be on those beaches that are so beautiful. I wish I lived there. So anyway I made this gorgeous bracelet. I think it is anyway.
Continuing right on into what I'm working on right now, its the most beautiful thing in this world...........to me.......haha.........looks like cream lace with olive green sides to it. All lacy, which I love lace for sure, and little rose buds sewn into the open spaces of pearls. Sure is hard figuring out how I can fasten these. Nan C. says to fasten them with snaps............ugh........I loathe the metal ones, so I bought tiny clear plastic ones thinking that they would barely show up on the backgrounds.
Guess what? They are beyond cheap and they act like it too............oh Lord how I hate the stuff that is made on this planet just to make money and fool us into believing that any of it is actually going to work?
THERE'S no quality anything any more!

Now you want to go into why????????? No I didn't think so.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Cant always get what you want right?

So now Im trying to figure out how to close these bracelets the secure beautiful way. Always a huge problem on any piece.

Having said that, Ive also been working on free form peyote again and its so beyond satisfying. Did one in greens and dark pinks as well as light pinks and now I'm planning a clear light pink one. Very pink poodleish looking. Very little girlish and girls just wanna have fun!

Ive changed my thread and I'm trying this new thread as the owner of Wild Bead, Beverly, is swearing that its the best stuff she's ever tried.........we'll see? I bought pink to match the other beads.

So OK heres the pics of them, what do you think?
